In 1451 King James II of Scotland persuaded Pope Nicholas V to grant
a bull authorising Bishop Turnbull of Glasgow to set up a university.

Now 550 years later, Prof. Neil Garrod (Dean of faculty of Law and Financial Studies) is going to recreate the journey of that papal bull from Rome to Glasgow, by running the 1,500miles.

Starting on April 23rd, Neil plans to be back in Glasgow for the June 20th Commemoration Day. He’ll need to cover over 25 miles per day!
